Frequently Asked Questions

When you rent our venue, you’ll have access for up to 150 guests between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM (custom times available). Rates range from $100–$250 per hour depending on event size and access level, with a 3-hour minimum booking.  A deposit is required and will be applied to the total balance. A cleaning fee will also be added based on the event size/package. While services like catering, music, tents, and tables must be arranged separately, we highly recommend the trusted vendors we partner with—each carefully selected to help bring your vision to life.  Yes, our venue offers both indoor and outdoor options for your event. The indoor space can be added to your booking for an additional $600. Additionally, there is a $200 cleaning fee for use of the indoor space. If a bedroom is included in the booking, there is an additional $300 charge to cover carpet cleaning. 

Our outdoor space can accommodate up to 150 guests.

We do not offer in-house catering services but we have a list of preferred vendors that we highly recommend.

 Yes! You are welcome to bring any licensed vendors of your choice. 

Yes, you’re welcome to play music during your event. Since we are located in a residential area, we kindly ask that you begin lowering the music at 8:00 PM and have it turned off outdoors by 9:00 PM.

If you would like the party to continue with music after that time, it may be moved inside the house. Please note that this would require renting the indoor space, where music can continue to be played. 

Yes, parking is available on the property and nearby street.

 A cleaning fee is required for all bookings and will be added at the end of your reservation based on the package you select. The fee is $200 for the Chill & Play Package, $250 for the Social Package, $300 for the Celebration Package, and $350 for the Grand Celebration Package.  If you choose to add the indoor space, there is an additional $200 cleaning fee. If you also add a bedroom, an additional $300 cleaning fee will apply.  These fees ensure the venue is left fresh and ready for you and future guests to enjoy. 

 Yes! Additional setup and takedown time can be added to your reservation as needed. Outdoor-only setup time is $45 per hour. If both indoor and outdoor access is needed prior to the event, setup time is $70 per hour. Takedown time is $45 per hour. Please let us know your needs in advance so we can reserve the time for you. 

 Beyond the rental cost of the event space, cleaning fees, selected add-ons, and amenities, the only additional fee is our $325 service fee. (Event insurance is included in the rental price.)

Our $325 service fee covers the administrative and coordination work behind the scenes, including contract preparation, insurance setup and verification, event documentation, scheduling, and all communication via text and email leading up to your event.

All applicable fees are clearly outlined in your rental agreement prior to booking confirmation. We are committed to transparent pricing with no hidden surprises.

 Yes. The Lookout Sand Canyon is a professionally operated event venue, not an Airbnb or vacation rental. Venue staff will be on site during your event and are available to assist guests, vendors, answer questions, address any issues that may arise, and help ensure your event runs smoothly. Our goal is to provide support while allowing you and your guests to enjoy the space. 

 Yes. The property is equipped with exterior security cameras located in public indoor and outdoor areas for safety, security, and liability purposes. There are no cameras in private areas such as restrooms, bedrooms or other private guest spaces.
